Pembrokeshire offers an abundance of days out for the whole family to enjoy. From wildlife attractions and country parks to adventures on the water, we believe that there is something for everyone. Below, we have highlighted a few of our favourite places to be found in Pembrokeshire and we would be happy to help you when planning your visit.
Folly Farm
Folly Farm was always a working dairy farm but these days it is so much more. Every year it keeps growing and growing and is Wales' biggest independent visitor attraction with several awards won. From vintage fairground rides, indoor and outdoor play areas to barn animals and feeding experiences in the zoo, there's over 750 animals to see there!
With 120 acres of fun, there really is something for everyone so you're going to want to plan for the whole day. Bring a picnic or choose from one of their many places to stop and eat.
Manor Wildlife Park
Located near Tenby, here you will get the chance to come face-to-face with some of the world's most exotic and endangered animals at Wales' only walking safari.
Feed the wallabies or sit with a lemur, and roam the various walkthroughs. With both indoor and outdoor play areas for the little ones to enjoy, there's plenty of fun to be had for the whole day.

Heatherton World Of Activities
Experience both indoor and outdoor adventures from chilled out family fun to adrenaline seeking thrills. High ropes, go carts and even panic room experiences, only 5 minutes away from Tenby and Saundersfoot, there is something for all ages!
Open all year round with free admission, even the dog can come with you.
Cardigan Island Coastal Farm Park
A unique farm located on a breathtaking headland overlooking Cardigan Island, just 3 miles outside of the historic market town of Cardigan. The Island is a nature reserve owned by the West Wales Wildlife Trust. Unauthorised access is simply prohibited and the island is home to a flock of wild Canadian Geese.
With animal feed available from the visitor center, you can make a few farm animal friends along the coastal walk path as you head for the seal view point. Here, a beautiful spot where a colony of Atlantic Grey Seals breed in the caves below the Farm park. Their pups can often be seen here during September - October from the securely fenced-off clifftops opposite the island. You may even get lucky and catch a brief glimpse of a dolphin of two over Cardigan Bay.
Clerkenhill Adventure Park
A relaxing day packed full of fun for the whole family, just 5 miles outside of Haverfordwest. Take a walk along the adventure trail and through the spooky woodlands or try your hand at frizbee golf! There's so much to keep the little ones busy with the numerous play areas, both inside and out. Well behaved dogs also welcome! See website for full opening times.
Scolton Manor
Wander and explore the 60 acres of park and woodland on this pet-friendly day out. Or relax whilst the little ones enjoy the various play areas along the walk or they can enjoy the delights of the sensory music garden. With a bike trail and pump track, you could even bring along their bikes and scooters. Delve into the history of the manor and discover the nature in the walled gardens, beekeeping centre, and bird hideouts and ponds.
Llys-Y-Fran
Free to enter and open all year round there’s plenty to do for all ages and abilities. A great place to spend the day exploring on foot or on two wheels. The 350 acres (142ha) of woodland, grassland and lake are perfect for walking, cycling and fishing – and a whole range of activities on land and water.
Watersports include paddleboarding and sailing, land activities include bike hire, mountain biking trails, archery, axe throwing, climbing wall, Crazi-Bugz off road cars and adventure playground.
Our café offers excellent food, much of the food is sourced locally. An annual events programme includes food and drink fairs, craft fairs, bonfire night celebrations and much more.
