Alexa

Swallow Tree House, Oystercatcher, Kittiwake now have an Alexa device available for use. They are wall-mounted and plugged in ready to play your favourite music or tell you what the weather is like when asked. If the device is not required then please feel free to unplug at the wall.

Barbecues

Caravan guests – you are welcome to bring your own barbecue for your stay. ONLY lump-wood charcoal barbecues are permitted, and these must be raised on legs. Barbecues must be placed a minimum distance of 2m from the unit. Disposable barbecues must be placed directly on hard ground and not on grass, decking or patio furniture. Only proprietary lighting products may be used. Lodge guests - Barbecues are available free of charge in Swallow Tree House, Oystercatcher, and Emperor Lodges. Barbeques in other units, where they are supplied, will be reconnected for a refundable deposit of £25 if the barbecue is left in a clean condition. Please ensure that the barbecue is attended at all times.

Car charging point

A chargeable service that is available for guests to use during their stay. Full instructions and app information are available at the charging point. Alternatively, contact reception for more details in advance of your stay.

Cats

Occasionally strays and neighbouring cats do wander onto the site. Please refrain from feeding or welcoming these into your holiday home.

Compliments and complaints

We do our best to provide an enjoyable and excellent service and would very much appreciate your feedback on how we are doing and how we can continue to improve. If you feel you have cause for complaint whilst on site, please contact Reception to enable us to resolve any problems as soon as possible. If you fail to follow this procedure, we cannot accept liability as we have been deprived of the opportunity to investigate and rectify the situation.

Dogs

Dogs are permitted in a number of specified pet-friendly holiday homes. For full details on our pet-friendly accommodation please see our Dog-friendly guide on our guests' information page of our website. Please note that in cases where it is found that a dog has entered a non-dog letting unit then charges will be applied and you may be asked to vacate.

Internet access

All letting units have been installed with Wi-Fi. You will find details within your holiday home on how you will be able to access the network using the password provided on the router. In addition to this, the Swallow Tree Gardens open network will be accessible and does not require a password. Please note, however, that this is a community network and not designed for fast, heavy usage.

Keys

You will be given a key upon your arrival or alternatively, it will be in the unit ready for you and in some instances, a second key may be available upon request. Please report any damaged keys to reception. Any key lost during your stay may be charged for. In some of our luxury accommodation patio keys will already be in the doors.  We ask that these remain in situ for your stay.

Launderette

The laundrette will be available for guests' use on Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Tokens for the washing machines are available at reception and are priced at £1.50 per token. Please note that washing tablets or powder is not provided therefore you will need to bring your own.

Leisure

The swimming pool is open to site guests between 09:00 and 19:00 (Last entry 18:15). Please visit the swimmers' safety section on the guest information page of our website. Gym use may be available during your stay. Please enquire at reception.

Items will be stored for 14 days

Parking

Parking is available for site guests only as can be seen on our site map. If your unit has a specific allocated parking bay then you will be notified of this. A parking permit will be in your unit to display in your vehicle during your stay. If you have more than one vehicle then additional permits are available at reception upon request.  

Post

Incoming post can be collected at reception. Our Reception team will contact you if any post arrives for you. For outgoing, the nearest post office is in New Hedges.

Public Telephone

There is a public telephone just inside the front door of the Reception building.

Reception

Our Reception staff are happy to assist with all of your enquiries and are available between 09:00 – 19:00 daily by phone, email or in person.

Repairs and Maintenance

Should there be an item that requires attention, please notify reception upon discovery to enable our team to resolve as soon as possible.

Rubbish & Recycling

Bordering the Pembrokeshire coastal path and being sited within the Pembrokeshire National Park, we are conscious of our beautiful environment.

Please note that the laws relating to how work place waste in Wales is to be handled and disposed of, have now changed from the 6th of April 2024. Further advice and guidance on waste and recycling during your stay is available. We ask that general waste is kept to a minimum and best efforts are made to recycle all recyclable items including food waste in our bid to aim toward a greener Wales.

Toilets

The “pumped” sewage system at Swallow Tree is solely designed to treat human waste and toilet paper. Please do not flush anything else down the toilet as it will block the pumps. Please use bins provided for make-up wipes, baby wipes and sanitary items.

TVs and Scart Leads

If you are removing leads to plug in your own Play Stations etc., please can we ask that you replace them and return TV/DVD setup to how you found them. If you have any problems with your television ask at reception for assistance.

Valuables

Please ensure you leave your accommodation secured and store valuables out of sight. The management cannot accept responsibility for loss and/or damage to any personal property whatsoever.

What else to consider?

Bed Linen

All bed linen is provided (including, duvets, duvet covers, sheets, pillows and pillow cases) and beds will be made up for your arrival. We do not provide bedding for a child’s cot and would therefore recommend you bring your child’s own bedding.

Towels

Towels are provided in our luxury accommodation and pine Lodges although we recommend you bring hand towels and additional towels for use in our leisure facilities. Guests staying in caravans will need to bring towels for the holiday.

Tea Towels & Washing Up

Tea towels, washing up liquid, and washing cloths/sponges are not supplied. 1 x general waste bag is provided therefore you may wish to bring more with you. The same would apply for toilet roll as only 1 is supplied in each toilet.

Cots & High Chairs

We can provide cots, highchairs, bed guard, black out blind and baby back pack to borrow free of charge. These must however be pre-booked to ensure availability.

Washing Machines and Dishwashers

Some of our larger, luxury accommodation feature dishwashers and washing machines. Please note that in these instances dishwasher tablets or washing powder will not be provided.
